Boryspil
International Airport is the main airport for international flights in Kiev.
I
decided to write about that particular airport because it is uniqe. Unique
because there are many people who are not passengers, and they will try to
“help you”. Just after leaving arrivals zone at the airport you will be
attacked by taxi drivers, who will propose you a taxi service, or currency
exchange. They will ensure you that they can offer you best price. But it is
not true. They only want your money and they will do everything to get it.
Because of them sleeping in terminal is not safe. They may steal your baggage or cheat you on currency.
So remember to use only official taxi, busses and change money in official
currency exchange. Some of taxi drivers will tell you that bus is broken or it
is going very late etc. This is not true.
"Taxi mafia" is waiting for travellers
Only in the eastern Europe are such exciting parties
At every airport there are special smoking rooms, but only in Kiev the doors from that rooms are wide open, and whole terminal can smell the smoke.
